Suketada Kikuchi Tamahagane Santoku

A very beautiful piece of artwork by blacksmith Kikuchi-San himself and the work he does is amazing. The culture and history of Japanese knives and swords are just amazing. Thank you Kikuchi-San for sharing your experience and story with us and Thank you Ichie Hamono for a great opportunity to own a beautiful piece of article .

Thank you so much for your wonderful review!

The Suketada Kikuchi Tamahagane Santoku is indeed a special piece, forged from Kikuchi-san’s self-made Tamahagane using the traditional Tatara steelmaking method.

Please note that since this knife is made from Tamahagane, it is more prone to rust. We recommend regular maintenance, such as wiping it dry after each use and applying a light coat of oil to preserve its beauty and functionality for years to come.

We truly appreciate your support and hope you enjoy using this extraordinary piece.

Best regards,
Ichie Hamono
