This knife has a stainless-clad construction: the core steel (cutting edge) is carbon steel, while the outer layer (cladding) is stainless steel.
Because the exposed edge is not stainless, it may rust if left wet. Always dry thoroughly after use to prevent corrosion.
Care
Frozen or hard products can chip the blade.
Don't wash in the dishwasher.
Use a whetstone to keep your knife from dulling.
