First time purchasing from this website and my experience was pleasant! One of the sharpest knives I’ve used to date. I was hesitant at first about the 1-3 month wait but it was definitely worth it and I’ll be purchasing even more knives from here soon.

I first learned of Sadamasa through a knife distributor out of Canada I purchased the petty knife from them and fell in love with the look and the incredible sharpness I tried to go back to the same distributor and purchase a second knife but they were quickly sold out fortunately now through this site you can order and buy directly from Japan and from this incredible knife maker it took a while but I received my knife and them more than happy with this beautiful blade it is the sharpest knife I own out of 25 knives from different knife makers that I have in my collection

The ebony handle is quite nice and overall this santoku has some heft to it. Gives plenty of confidence when cutting. The edge was sharp and it glides through a lot of ingredients without feeling too delicate. A well made knife and I'm glad to have purchased!

The communication was very great, no problems with delivery and the knife is absolut great.

The knife is perfection. An incredible artifact made by the legendary Ueda-san, whom I luckily had the honor to meet during my visit to Japan in April, and I hope the knife successfully lives as it gets passed down throughout my generation.
As this is my first ever Japanese knife to own, I educated myself on how to sharpen and maintain the knife properly and got all the tools necessary to keep it in top shape. Needless to say, I maintain it intensively after every use now.
It is also an eye-catcher and receives many compliments when I use it at my workplace.
