An incredibly beautiful work of art to own

The knife is perfection. An incredible artifact made by the legendary Ueda-san, whom I luckily had the honor to meet during my visit to Japan in April, and I hope the knife successfully lives as it gets passed down throughout my generation.
As this is my first ever Japanese knife to own, I educated myself on how to sharpen and maintain the knife properly and got all the tools necessary to keep it in top shape. Needless to say, I maintain it intensively after every use now.
It is also an eye-catcher and receives many compliments when I use it at my workplace.
Thank you to Hisato-san from Ichie Hamono for helping me with ordering the knife from Ueda-san!
Canft wait to get my next tamahagane blade!

John-san,

Thank you for your kind review! I'm happy to hear your experience!
