Note

Due to the popularity of Sadamasa’s products, many items are out of stock and are typically made to order. Based on past experience, made-to-order items are usually delivered within 2 to 6 months, though in rare cases, it can take up to 10 months. This is especially true during the summer months, when the extreme heat in the workshop makes production more challenging and time-consuming.

As the blacksmith is fully focused on production, frequent inquiries about the status of individual orders can actually disrupt their workflow and reduce efficiency. For this reason, we regret to inform you that we are generally unable to provide regular updates during the waiting period.

Of course, we’re happy to respond to any questions you may have before or after placing your order. Feel free to contact us via email, chat, or WhatsApp if you have any concerns. We would be very grateful if you could place your order with the understanding of the above points. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your kind patience.

Care

Frozen or hard products can chip the blade.

Don't wash in the dishwasher.

Use a whetstone to keep your knife from dulling.

Sadamasa 165 mm bunka

I first learned of Sadamasa through a knife distributor out of Canada I purchased the petty knife from them and fell in love with the look and the incredible sharpness I tried to go back to the same distributor and purchase a second knife but they were quickly sold out fortunately now through this site you can order and buy directly from Japan and from this incredible knife maker it took a while but I received my knife and them more than happy with this beautiful blade it is the sharpest knife I own out of 25 knives from different knife makers that I have in my collection

Thank you so much for sharing your experience!

Since this was a built-to-order piece, it took about 2–3 months from order to delivery, and we truly appreciate your patience. Knowing that you’re more than happy with the final result makes us incredibly glad.
